The Trojans and the greeks

The Trojans

The Iliad was written in Ancient Greek and all the names of the people and gods were greek names. Many people think the trojans and greeks speak the same language.  Some Trojans were Hector, Paris, Priam , Hequba, Andromache, Aeneas, Astyanax, Dolon, Glaucus, Helenus, Cassandra, Pandarus,  Polydamas, and Sarpedon. The gods that were with the trojans were Zeus, Hera, Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, and Xanthos (the son of zeus).

The Greeks

The ancient greeks were unique people. The greeks believed in the balance of power mind and body. Some greeks were Achilles, Agamemnon, Menelaus, Diomedes, Ajax, Odysseus, Nestor, Idomeneus, Calchas, and Patroclus. The gods with the greeks were Hera, Athena, Thetis, Hermes, and Poseidon. They believed that individuals should be free as long as they acted with the laws of Greece.
